Sectional garage doors are made in standard sizes and can also be made to measure, they take the form of individual sections joined together, each section is approximately 20 inches/500ml deep across the width of the door.
These sections slide up on tracks attached to the garage ceiling. There are normally four sections to an average height door of around 7ft. The doors slide down tracks attached to the side of the opening and they can be fitted to the back side of the opening.
Most sectional doors are fitted with an electric powered operator available at an additional cost.
Sectional doors come in two different thicknesses and provide good insulation.
